As you may know, Mirion Technologies acquired Biodex Medical Systems in September 2020. This acquisition expands and diversifies Mirion’s product line in the medical field. This acquisition will also give each of Biodex’s product categories – medical imaging, nuclear medicine and physical medicine – access to greater resources, more capital, and connections to new markets and additional distributors.

Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that Biodex’s physical medicine competitors have falsely described this acquisition as adverse for our product support, or falsely speculated that Biodex will cease operations of their physical medicine product category. These are untrue statements. You should not be misled by these crude attempts to create fear and uncertainty.

Mirion remains committed to building, selling, and supporting Biodex’s innovative physical medicine products, and engaging with our many customers and distributors. Biodex is now, and will remain, an active leader in this market. Unlike our physical medicine competitors, we value our commitment to honest representation and building long-lasting relationships based on trust. We hope you value the same.
