The lightweight portable instrumented platform and easy to use, easy to read, high resolution color touch screen display, sets-up in minutes to provide patients with a choice of interactive training modes or standardized testing environments including the Clinical Test for Sensory Integration of Balance (CTSIB)
Fully Portable – The optional hard shell “wheelie board” case provides convenience and protection when relocating the BioSway between locations within the facility or transporting it to satellite locations, such as community-based fall screening programs, health fairs and in-home health care. The case fits into small car trunks.
The easy to follow touch screen format – is simple to learn and operate, leading the user step-by-step through testing and interactive training protocols.
Immediate Biofeedback – This allows the clinician to easily monitor the patient and acts to motivate the patient during interactive testing/training.
All test results and training sessions can be stored and printed. Comparison to normative data helps to communicate need, progress and outcome.

and Postural Stability Testing Environments are all included.

CTSIB Screen - The CTSIB test helps determine which sensory system (visual, somatosensory or vestibular) the person relies on to maintain balance.

CTSIB - Clincal Test for Sensory Integration of Balance
The Clinical Test for Sensory Integration of Balance (CTSIB) is a more complex sensory strategy balance test. It is administered by: 1) manipulating the support surface (ie, firm vs foam)
2) visual conditions (ie, eyes open, eyes closed), and
3) vestibular system sway reference by using the computerized sway platform, while an individual is asked to maintain their standing balance.

CTSIB is Utilized for Fall Risk Screening Test
Utilizing the CTSIB capabilities of the BioSway, clinicians can test patients and compare balance test results to normative data. The BioSway can then be utilized in a coordinated program following the Biodex Fall Risk Screening and Conditioning Protocol which is consistent with American Geriatrics Guidelines for Fall Risk Assessment.

COLOR REPORTS – Easy-to-read 8.5" x 11" reports. Comparisons to normative data can be made for the CTSIB and Limits of Stability Tests.
